3.0 Personal information that this website collects and why we collect it.

3.1 Site visitation tracking

Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) and Alexa Analytics to track user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our website pages and to see their journey through the website.

Although Google Analytics and Alexa Analytics records data such as your geographical location, devices, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to us. Google Analytics and Alexa Analytics also records your computer’s IP address which could be used to personally identify you but Google and Alexa do not grant us access to this. We consider Google and Alexa to be third party data processors (see section 6.0 below)

Disabling cookies on your internet browser will stop Google Analytics from tracking any part of your visit to pages within the website.

3.2 Support Chat

Like most websites, this site uses an instant messenger-style support chat. This allows someone who visits our website to talk to an Airtech employee in real-time and therefore can ask any questions they are curious about.

Much like Google Analytics and Alexa Analytics MyLiveChat records data such as your geographical location, devices, internet browser and operating system. None of this information personally identifies you to us. If you would like to talk to using this feature it will ask you for your email address and name, again none of this information I saved to our website. In the case of our support chat being offline, any comments or questions will be put into an email and sent to the office. This email will contain your name, email address IP address and the page you were on when asking the question. This information is needed to get in contact and answer any questions you may have.

3.3 Contact forms and email links

Should you choose to contact us using the contact form on our website page or an email link, none of the data that you supply will be stored by this website or passed to / be processed by any of the third-party data processors defined in section 6.0. Instead, the data will be collated into an email and sent to us over the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP).

4.0 How we store your personal information

As detailed in section 3.2 and 3.2 above, if you submit a question using MyLiveChat or fill out a form on the website some personal information will be stored within the companies email server. This is currently the only occasion where personal data from the website will be stored. Name, email addresses and IP addresses are currently stored in an identifiable fashion on the recipient's email server. It is compulsory for every device, which is attached to an Airtech email address, to have a passcode on.

If you are an exciting customer or give us permission to record your personal data all information you provide to us is stored on our secured servers within Europe, including the United Kingdom. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using a payment system called PayPal. Credit card numbers are used for processing payment only and are not saved or retained for marketing purposes. 6.0 Data Breaches

We will report any unlawful data breach of this website’s database or the database(s) of any of our third-party data processors to any and all relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours of the breach if it is apparent that personal data stored in an identifiable manner has been stolen.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes in compliance with GDPR in section 2.0.
